Which Actifyz white ball should I choose?
What is the difference between Test, League and REX 50?
All three are hard, 4-piece, hand-stitched white leather cricket balls. The difference is the performance tier, leather selection and intended use.
- Test Grade: value-focused full-grain alum-tanned leather for regular training and practice.
- League Grade: imported premium leather with tighter seam construction and better shine retention for longer match performance.
- REX 50: genuine alum hide, flagship finishing and dedicated positioning for premium 50-over match cricket.
Does “REX 50” mean the ball is guaranteed to last exactly 50 overs?
No fixed number of overs can be guaranteed for any leather cricket ball. REX 50 is designed and positioned as Actifyz's dedicated 50-over white match ball.
Actual usable life depends on the wicket, outfield and ground hardness, weather, level of play, boundary surfaces and how the ball is maintained during the innings.
How many overs can I expect from each grade?
- Test Grade: approximately 20 overs under normal playing conditions.
- League Grade: 30+ overs under normal playing conditions.

Actifyz White Leather Cricket Balls are supplied in the 148–156 g weight range.
They are hard leather balls intended for serious leather-ball cricket, not soft training or tennis-ball cricket.

Each ball uses a 4-piece, hand-stitched leather shell with approximately 70–75 stitches around a layered cork and natural-rubber core.
The pronounced seam is designed to give bowlers a defined grip while supporting swing, seam movement, balanced flight and consistent response.
Do these balls swing and seam properly?
They are constructed for conventional leather-ball behaviour. The 4-piece shell, raised hand-stitched seam and leather finish are designed to support both swing and seam movement.
Performance will also depend on bowling skill, atmospheric conditions, wicket condition and how well one side of the ball is maintained.
Does every box contain 6 balls of the same grade?
Yes. Each individual box contains 6 balls of the grade you select — Test, League or REX 50.

Can I mix Test, League and REX 50 for the 20% bulk offer?
Yes. ACTIFYZ20 applies when you purchase a minimum of 5 boxes in total, and all three white-ball grades are eligible.
You can mix Test, League and REX 50 in any combination — for example, 2 Test + 2 League + 1 REX 50 qualifies.
Which surfaces are these balls best suited for?
For best performance and leather life, use them on prepared turf wickets or good-quality matting wickets.
The leather, seam and layered core are designed for organised cricket environments where the ball can maintain its finish and shape more consistently.
Can I use them on concrete or very rough surfaces?
We do not recommend it. Concrete, rough matting, abrasive pitches and hard exposed surfaces can rapidly damage leather, lacquer and seam integrity.
If durability and match-like performance matter, use the balls on turf or proper cricket matting wherever possible.
Are they suitable for T20, one-day and day-night cricket?
Yes. The white lacquer finish is designed for visibility in daylight and under lights.

Can juniors use these balls?
These are hard leather cricket balls in the 148–156 g range. Whether they are appropriate for a junior player should be decided by the coach based on age, strength, skill level and prior experience with hard-ball cricket.
